Leticia Taimo joined IDEV in May 2023 as a Senior Evaluation Officer. Prior to joining IDEV, Leticia worked for development consultancy firms, where she spent 8 years specializing in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. She has led and worked on a number of evaluations for donors, government, the private sector and NGOs. She has extensive experience in presenting at evaluation conferences and facilitating capacity building workshops with development practitioners. She is a founding member and advisor of the Mozambican Evaluation Association.
Leticia holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship (2014/2015) and Mandela Rhodes Scholarship (2013) which she applied to graduate work focusing on the African continent. She is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, and has professional working proficiency in French.
