Jayne Musumba has extensive experience in public policy, sustainable development, knowledge management, and innovation. She is a Division Manager with the Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) at the African Development Bank Group, leading a team on knowledge management, outreach, and capacity development.
Previously, she was a Principal Knowledge Management Officer with IDEV. She led the development and implementation of the knowledge management strategy of IDEV, fostered knowledge sharing and learning from evaluations, and managed the Evaluation Capacity Development program.
Prior to joining the Bank, she worked as a Knowledge Management Specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She also worked as a Sustainable Development Officer with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA).
Jayne holds a Master of Science in Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She is also an alumnus of the executive programs in behavioral science, program management, design, and innovation from Harvard Kennedy School and Parsons School of Design (New York).
