Sîm-Yassah Awilêlo BADJO has more than 7 years of experience in research, evaluation, project and program management, proposal writing, partnership, dissemination, and use of knowledge. He joined IDEV in 2023 as Evaluation Capacity Development consultant. He has worked in several African countries, including Togo, Benin, Ghana, Congo-Brazzaville, Algeria, and Senegal. He supported the design and implementation of a robust and practical monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system, and conducted and managed evaluations for national and international organizations, including the African Union Commission, the World Bank, the United Nations Agencies, and Plan International, among others.  
Sîm-Yassah is passionate about evaluation, including Made in Africa Evaluation (MAE), which aims to elevate the influence of Africa-rooted methods, theories, and philosophies in global evaluation and development, particularly evaluations meant to benefit Africa.
