Miguel joined IDEV in February 2023 as a Young Professional. Prior to IDEV he was in the African Investment Forum unit of the AfDB.
Before joining the Bank, Miguel was M&E Officer for UNICEF Equatorial Guinea. He has also worked in various departments of Equatorial Guinea’s Ministry of Finance, Economy and Planningm, Department of Planning, Department of Territorial Development and Department of Taxes and Contributions.
He holds master’s degrees in Economics and Territorial Development, an Msc. in International Cooperation for Development and a Bsc. in Economics. He is pursuing a PhD in Economic and Development. He has also completed professional trainings including Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner, Multidimensional Poverty Measurement by OPHI, Impact evaluation of Social Programs by MITx. Miguel speaks Spanish and English, and basic French.
