Marc Bappa joined IDEV in April 2023 as Knowledge Management Officer. He has over six years of work experience at national, regional and international levels for development institutions including the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), USAID Feed The Future Africa Lead II Program and the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS). Marc previously worked at IDEV as a Knowledge Management, Communications and Events junior consultant (April 2019 – March 2021).
He is a member of various professional networks such as Young Professionals for Agricultural Development, Knowledge Management for Development, and the West and Central African Network for Agricultural and Rural Advisory Services, for which he was the Communications, Information and Knowledge Management focal person. Also, he participated in the 2021 Annual Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development (KM4AgD) challenge, organized by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa in collaboration with AFAAS and Sub Regional Offices engaged in Agriculture.
He holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor in Biological Science from the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon.
