Boubacar Ly joined IDEV in August 2017 as Evaluation Officer. His work focuses on the evaluation of the AfDB private sector, infrastructure and regional integration operations and strategies. Since 2014, he has contributed as an evaluation consultant to several IDEV thematic, sector and country strategies and programmes evaluations, notably Project Completion Reports (PCRs) Validations.
Before joining the IDEV team, Boubacar spent 8 years in academia and the banking sector in Toronto, Canada. He also interned with the World Bank.
Mr. Ly holds a Master in International Development Studies with specialization in Governance and Fragile States; a BA in International Development Studies (Specialized in Political Economy) and an Honors BA in Economics (Specialized in International Trade and Finance).
