Meta-evaluation Approaches to Improve Evaluation Practice

Meta-evaluation (MEv) is the evaluation of evaluations, the systematic review of evaluations to determine the quality of their processes and findings and the assessment of the role of evaluation in a policy sector or an organization. After exploring some of the key theoretical grounds of MEv, the webinar will share some examples of tailored MEv frameworks to assess the worth and merit of a set of evaluations going beyond the narrow conception of evaluation quality.
